Yeah. His playing is amazing but his music is nothing special anymore. He pretty much popularized this whole neo-classical style but noone really pays that much attention to him anymore. I still look up to him for inspiration though, he has some great songs.

I love Alexi! He broke my heart!!!!! It's true love for him. It felt like i'v known him for such a really long time cuz i'v known more and more about him each time. It seems like i do know him , so seeing another fan kiss him...it's heartbreaking. LOL, i love that pic of Alexi and Janne kissing. that's HOT! But the first time i saw it, i totally freaked out. i didn't know what to do. And the pic with the fangirl is impossible to find, cuz i'v never seen it before until now.
To mr. proper: you met Alexi?!!!! Omg, you met Henkka???!! The only thing i'v ever gotten from Henkka is eye contact! You're so lucky. I wish i was at wacken.

^Alexi? If so, i'm not a guitarist or anything but if i were, Alexi would definetly be my inspiration. I love his guitaring....even in the new albums, i'd try to play some of the stuff.

My biggest guitar influences are Chuck Schuldiner and Herman Li. I totally wish I could solo like that. Though, some wonder if he really CAN do all that...

Anyway, Alexi is an inspiration to me as a guitarist - it's too damn bad I can't play anythingthat he can though. I can play one of the riffs from Every Time I Die and the intro to Mask Of Sanity. I suck

^That's pretty good though. Even playing a couple of the riffs are pretty impressive considering Alexi plays a lot of complicated things.
