You know you grew up in the 90s when.....

The first two years were pretty uneven, then around 4-8 are extremely good. 9-11 were solid performers, but everything since then is hit or miss. I think I have my numbers correct.

Sounds pretty dead-on to me. I can't attach a time frame to many of my favorite episodes, but when I'm over at friends' houses who own the DVD sets, it always seems like the peak was around season 5.

Born in 91. And yet this list still brings back many memories...
You're a 90's kid if:
You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!"
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early
on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
You remember reading "Goosebumps"
You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . .

When everything was settled by:
-rock paper scissors or
when kick ball was a daily activity.

when we used to obey our parents

You had a furby or 2... or 3.....

-The Magic School Bus
-Wishbone
-Reading Rainbow

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.
You remember those Where's Waldo books.
You remember eating Warheads

-Aladdin
-Ninja Turtles
-ghost busters
You remember Ring Pops.
If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!"

Making those little paper cootie catcher things, and then predicting your life with them.

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere.

You watched the original cartoons of
-Rugrats
-Wild Thornberry's
-Power Rangers
-Rocket Power.
You collected those Beanie Babies.
Everyone watched the WB.
You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace.
When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.
When everybody had sneakers with characters on them.
When we recorded stuff on VCRs.
You ACTUALLY played outside until it was dark!
Before we realized all this would eventually disappear.
Yeah, I remember all that stuff. Never collected Beanie Babies or furbies, never watched those shows, never had any gigapets or nanos, but I remember the crazes. Lots of memories...

Before the MySpace frenzy . . .
Before the Internet & text messaging . . .
Before Sidekicks & iPods . . .
Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . .
Before Spongebob . . .
When light up sneakers were cool.
When gas was $0.95 a gallon.
Those were the days.
