Grats dude, I was using a very similar chain on the In Malice's Wakes vocals. It really brought the goods, but has a tendency to sound a little bit brittle (the mic is a bit scooped and the pre distorts easily). Just wait till you get a chance to go U87 > 512c > Distressor. Hoo!

The last piece of gear I bought was a bass guitar. Cheap $60 but still.

Next weekend, I am going to Guitar Center and getting the Alexi 200! Used, so it is $174. It's not crap I've played it. It owns!
