Yeah, the guilt-by-association arguments are ridiculous, you're right. What was I thinking?

Let's get back to the real issues like Bill Ayers and how Obama is a Marxist and elitist who hates small town folk.

:lol:this is too good. Either you eclipse me in sarcasm or your head is in the sand. Cheers if its the former.

Mark: Obama *used* cocaine. This isn't the 70s. Personally I'm no fan of drug use, but the fact that he was upfront and in the open about that says positive things to me about his honesty and character. What he did 20 or 30 years ago has zero effect on his ability now. Or are you going to bring up all the wonderfully stupid things McCain must have done in the past 60 years? This is asinine...

"I'm not racist but I'd rather cut my dick off than vote for a my pals" is basically what they're all saying.

I seriously think some of those morons will attempt to assassinate Obama if he gets elected. I mean every single one of them has a gun and a broken DNA-ladder.

So many idiots in that video...and for the record, I think anyone who brings their young children out to hold up signs and chant for/against candidates should be be caned.
Agreed

I think I have made it known that I despise the democrats, but they don't even hold a candle to how dumb these republican motherfuckers are. I disagree with everything McCain and Palin stand for, but what I would NOT ever do is make outrageous lies about them because I disagree with them.

Most importantly:

Nor do I understand why McCain has not even addressed this issue. His followers are displaying the most disgusting and ignorant acts of racism and prejudice I have ever seen first hand in modern America. Racism makes me fucking sick and it is so beyond me why McCain can't at least set them straight and perhaps implant the idea in their thick skulls that making horrible, baseless comments is detrimental to them, their children and everyone else around them.

He's been trying to set them straight. These people don't give a shit. Their heads are in the mud, still shouting GOP GOP... it's just a bandwagon and they have no breaks. McCain has the illusion of being the driver.

When politicians run for large public offices, they meet and work with lots of people - good or bad.

Here's some of McCain's associations:
-Sat on US Council for World Freedom chaired by John Singlaud, a man involved in the Iran Contra Scandal. It's parent organization, the World Anti-Communist League, is a known as a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites. One of it's presidents was a Eugenics researcher studying white superiority.
-Gordon Liddy committed a crime and instructed listeners to his radio show of the correct way to kill a federal agent.
-Charles Keating Jr. cheated American depositors of billions of dollars.
-Sought the endorsement of Pastor Hagee.
-Oleg Deripaska, Russian oligarch, was invited to McCain's 70th birthday. He has since had his US VISA revoked for suspected links to anti-democratic and organized crime figures.

Palin's husband was in the Alaskan Independence Party from 1995-2006 which advocates a referendum for Alaska becoming it's own nation.

Does Obama actively use this stuff? No because characterizing someone by those they've met in their lives is specious. Though, I think the campaign used McCain being in the Keating Five because it is analogous to the economic crisis and was an actual scandal McCain was investigated for.

All of you are operating with bias in your arguments or points, on both sides, to myself as a uncommitted its obvious. Such things like

America is anti education or science... what? Perhaps some of us question the priorities of funding and necessity of such, that doesnt mean we want to live in a brain dead world. In fact to me some of the science and space expenses are brain dead, when there a much more important concerns in our country or world. Mankind is not supposed to live for ever and I accept this, I personally feel people of poor genetic health should die. This is coming from someone that lost his mother at her age of 36 to a brain tumor and my father at his age 67 to blood cancer, it is what it is and they both died... however some hospitols made great fortunes during their last months of life.... BRAVO !

Yet I did have a Grandfather that beat throat cancer in his late 70's that lived to be 94.... but a Grandmother that was on more medication her last 20 years of life that nothing in her body worked proper and the simplist of abrasions would not heal... so somehow Im just not too impressed with science. The money it exumes is quite impressive however... woo hoo and yee fucking haw... yet we dont have a car that weighs less than 3000 lb anymore and most still only get 20 miles on the gallon... who cares right ? so long as we have a probe on Mars and multi billion dollar telescopes and more pills than one can possibly eat in a life time... if they survive

Further, once again, I dont give two shits about "space", I care about what makes our planet sound and what damages that.

You show videos of ill informed people saying stupid shit about Obama, then say McCain didnt do anything to set them straight... yet I just saw a video where he did, posted by the same person that said he didnt ????

Then how about some videos of how ignorant many of the blacks or other people for that matter are that will be voting for Obama, the vid of Sterns crews interviews showed this... I mean WTF ? Talk about distractions

Carlin was quoted and by this quote it backs up how I feel about "degrees", having the ability or patience to memorize books and pass tests does not make one bright, the world is full of educated jack asses and they have given us many, many of our current problems. I feel man was born to live a good life and deserves the right to do so, by his earnest effort, without the current man made obsticals, regardless of degrees. Every cog in the machine makes it roll, not just those that stand by watching, patting themselves on the back for "ALL they accomplished".

Joe the plumber is "not a licenced plumber"..... so fucking what? I am not nor ever was a licenced logger... so I suppose to the college grad this means I did not know what I was doing... ya OK ... HELLO!, we nor many of the other trades never needed to be "licenced" we survived by merit of our work... as it should be. The college grads couldnt deal with this however and got up with the insurance companies and lobbied the house to impliment "education" classes for us to attend {at our cost}, while our jobs sat idle, at our expence {as if we could afford it} to become "certified"... woo hoo and yee fucking haw... now we special too... but wait... we are working for less than we were 15 years ago... BRAVO ! Naw, nothing brain dead going on here.

Your all talking quilt by association but fail to realize the associations of both candidates is just plain FUCKING SCARY

Your talking qualifications and myself the idea of an ivy leager/lawyer is equally as scary as a military man or someone that voted on bills with Bush. I dont like the good ol boy school of military but I definantly dont like the good ol boy ivy leagers either. Neither are going to look out for whats best for the employment and income of the entire population of Americans.

Whos friends with who ? Well the Clintons had some scetchy connections with a realestate scam, then some people woke up dead... who knows what went on there but none the less the realestate scams finally caught up with us and it took over a decade.

People want to talk about spending and funding. Well the Democrates want to give money to most idealistic programs that pop up and the Republicans want to spend money on military. Once again both sides have their heads up each others asses and its cutting off the circulation to their brains.

Talking about Obamas district being one of high crime and high maintenence, well look at the area its in and its population. Then realize it is also an area heavily effected by the de-manufacturing of America. Hop in your Toyota, Honda or Nissan, or house made of products from foreign countries or full of products from foreign countries and realize that all the educated powers that be in America, be they Democrate or Republican were A-OK with the course of the past 30 years and no one did a damn thing to stop it. Do college economic courses include a course called "this will eventually bite you, your country, your childrens country in the ass" or do they all evolve around how to get some money QUICK ?

Whatever... I'm an uneducated ignorant racist bigoted moron that just doesnt know how to swallow shit whole and chewing on it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth

Ken, I agree with your points on the coke use. My point, which I didn't even really try to communicate, is that, in my mind, drug use is typically introduced by somebody else. In my mind, I tie that to the questionable associations he has that seem to influence his decisions, morales, and views. Looking deep into his views, I don't agree with many of them, if any of them at all. I can agree with family first - I guess I'll give him one thing there. But, holy [insert appropriate word here], partial birth abortions??? That alone is absolutely disgusting and abhorrent to me, and his clearly socialist mentality is something I cannot subscribe to in any measure. I fully agree that you should get what you work for, and work for what you get.

I fully agree that you should get what you work for, and work for what you get.

This, I totally agree with. :kickass:
Still I could obviously never support McCain and Palin. I can't help but foresee that, somehow, the same typical cycle of disgraceful American political bullshit will continue to manifest in even new forms after they gain presidency.

Would that typical cycle of disgraceful American political bullshit, resemble that typical disgraceful political bullshit of ANY other country ?

just wondering

I would look at McCain as the best bet to heal some of the partisanship out there. He's a dead center Moderate, and he's well liked on both sides of Congress. Obama is way too left to bring anybody even from the center toward his views.

Palin has a record of reform. Regardless of her voice and her deer-in-the-headlights looks, her record in Alaska is quite appealing to me.

Ok, Marwen - what is "mema" on your sig?

I guess it does. Not just resembles it but (in some cases that I know of) even 'inspires' it.
Don't mistake me for someone who gives a shit about politics though.

Ok, Marwen - what is "mema" on your sig?

Same as 'DiMeola', or 'Obama'... = A LAST NAME.
Get over it man!

I seriously think some of those morons will attempt to assassinate Obama if he gets elected. I mean every single one of them has a gun and a broken DNA-ladder.

 Yep, some of them are definitely + or - of the 46 chromosome norm.

It's sad, but I agree. I think there will be assassination attempts against Obama if he wins the election.

America is anti education or science... what?

Wait for it... Wait for it...

Carlin was quoted and by this quote it backs up how I feel about "degrees", having the ability or patience to memorize books and pass tests does not make one bright, the world is full of educated jack asses and they have given us many, many of our current problems.

There it is. Laff.

There is a great article by Christopher Hitchens on Slate.com about Sarah Palin and Science.

http://www.slate.com/id/2203120/

It's a good read and articulates the point far better than I ever could.

As I said !

However I would never say that artical was loaded with anti Palin spin, it seemed terribly non bias in tone.

I would say I dont give two fucks about Grizzlys to spend 3 million just on DNA research of them... not to mention the additional costs incured by the study alone. Its simple to me, Grizzlys lived here first, give me bullits to reduce the American human population by 3 million and it will solve more than any problems the Grizzlys are having and the Griz can live happily ever after.

I however would not say that those concerned about the DNA research of the Grizzy, would critize Teddy Roosevelt for his massive parks that could easily house more....... immigrants.......
:OMG:

I don't see McCain or Palin as moderate in any sense at all. I believe in a compromise between socialism and capitalism. That makes ME a moderate. :p
Earn your pay, but don't let people abuse the system to either earn what they're too lazy to work for or earn what they never worked for, but are too damn rich to not accumulate anyway.

Essentially capitalism with greed control. As for the abortion issue, it shouldn't even BE a political issue.
