To everyone who resides in Scandinavia and Germany. What did you expect? America is about as trendy as they come, and in their pathetic attempts to emulate the craft of black metal, a new genre of shit music has emerged. Damn i am ashamed to be an american. Anyway, in my opinion there is no american black metal. Only attempts at recreating something that can never be recaptured, not in any time or place. For all of you who don't reside in america, please, take my word, HATE THIS PLACE WITH EVERYTHING YOU ARE and take immense pride in the fact that you were given the opportunity to be part of something so powerful and unique. Understand that America is entirely too misinformed to be salvaged, and will never adequately match the talent or sophistication of our ancient neighbors. Also know that, though few, some of us are aware of the magic behind the music and support the demise of humanity. KEEP BLACK METAL WHERE IT BELONGS, FAR FROM AMERICA:wave:

Actually America is one of the better scenes for black metal as of late (still doesn't compare to early 90's Scandinavia).

I think Birkenau raises what was on all of our minds there.

This issue raises the question, what is the best band to come out of America? I'm thinking Manowar.

Yay or nay on these? Most of them I would say yes to. Just some off of the top of my head, but there are more worthy bands.

Blood Stained Dusk
Weltmacht
Judas Iscariot
Weakling
Grand Belial's Key
