Makes me think how many metal people in general I've passed and never even knew! Really makes you think...

haha, yea. Theres no way to know. There was this guy in my Green Party committee who I ended up seeing at the Nile show last week.. neither of us had any idea the other would be there, or even liked some of the same bands. It was crazy.

I think it gets a bit stupid to throw a huge blanket statement out there saying that ALL metal girls out there are somehow mentally damaged and listen to metal for superficial reasons, based off the limited number of girls that one person knows.

you could be right, but ive met hundreds of metalheads over the years...many of which were women...i was in several bands in the past, as well as a booking agent for several years, and did distribution and sales for century media and nuclear blast for 3 years as well. and i can count on one hand how many of them were "normal". again...i didnt say they dont exist at all...but those stereotypes are in place for a reason people.

I would definately say that I'm mentally stable and don't have overwelming issues (not to say that i'm not different or can't act silly at times). I don't smoke, do drugs or drink and I am not ugly or fat

Check. (Well, I do drink like a sailor at times).

However, I also don't have ANY girlfriends :confused: I do have a couple boyfriends and I can say that they are not into metal and one especially can't stand it when I throw on some Arch Enemy or Opeth.

I have one female friend, who I only get on with because she is a lot like me. The rest of my friends are men and I generally prefer the company of men for whatever reason.
 
Im pretty much only friends with guys. I have one female friend at home, but I seriously dont even have anyone close to calling a friend that is a girl here at school. *shrug* girls are too catty, in general. and not relaxed.
