That Kittie song was decent until about halfway through when she stopped doing vocals. The instrumentation wasn't strong enough to carry on for another 3 minutes without getting boring.

And it definitely wasn't death metal, Journey's End. LSK of Antaeus, Vorkreist, and Secrets of the Moon does very well in extreme metal.

about the whole meshuggah thing...

i used to totally hate them as well, like seriously i hated them with all my heart and they're the reason why i didn't go to their show with cynic and the faceless(worst decision concert wise of my life, i regret that so much)

but i started to branch out and one night i was just sitting and i was like....wow im gonna give meshuggah a try again. so i downloaded obzen and i was fucking blown away, listened to that album maybe 4 times through that whole night. so fucking great.

Nobody called vocals a genre, not even sure where you got that. Sorry you're all butt hurt over me using the word 'females' instead of women, try not to lose any sleep over it and I'll do the same. I'm curious though, if this is how you act when someone says "females", do you write all the death metal bands nasty letters when their lyrics contain words like "cvnt" and "whore"?

I posted them on another metal board and they were made out to be the equivalent of an emo band. They're probably gonna be hated here too, being electronic deathcore (yes I know ) but I find them to be a fun band.
