Scott posted yesterday on the CDC that they're getting closer to being able to say something.
Awesome! Either way I can't wait to find out what Anthrax is gonna do! Like I've said before, regardless of who's on vocals, lead guitar, or bass I hope the next album is more thrash influenced. Man it would RULE if there were some "epic" thrash tunes ala Time, Be All End All, etc. on the new album!:headbang:

So why would a reunion presume that they would go back in time and write like it's 1987 again?

Good call, but if one HAD to put a time to it all.

POT Vocals.
POT Guitars.
Stomp442 bass and drums
ATL solos.

but all with modern production. My dream Anthrax sound.:headbang:

They were doing things pretty fucking perfect the way they were before the permed wig and the little watchmaker returned. Their last two albums were fucking awsome. WCFYA was aggressive, modern and still had a classic Anthrax stamp right throught the middle.

Do you like any of the 80's stuff. I'm a bush guy but I like the old stuff.
Oh yeah... I do. I've been following Anthrax since '86 or '87, and I've always loved them. ATL, SOE, POT. These were the soundtrack to my teens. And I still pop them in every once in a (long) while. I've always said how Anthrax is the only band from that time that I can still listen to because of how they've evolved and always seemed to be living in the glory days instead of trying to recapture them.
SO, this giant leap backward is very hard for me to swallow.
It feels like they are turning one of my favorite bands into a joke.
What next... a reality show?

Hey Guys... The members of Anthrax said it themselves... MANY TIMES, which is something you'll NEVER hear them say about John.

I can't say for sure that I didn't say something stupid in the past. It's not something I ever truly felt about Joey. There was a time when I obviously didn't feel he was right for the band. Times change.

Damage control.

i honestly do hate to go off topic again, but I have to say this;

If you take into consideration how many Jew there are in the world, and then *poof* they all turned Christian - - - YES, yes, it would indeed be the end of the world.

Anyway If I have to have a Bush free anthrax then freaking Armored Saint better hit the East coast sometime soon. But I'm sure I will still love whatever Anthrax does next - I have no real beef with Joey.

Okay, one last time, if a Jew converts to Christianity (or whatever it's called), that's different than someone who calls themselves "Jews for Jesus"...the jews believe the messiah has not come yet, that when the messiah comes...that is the end of the world...so a jew can't really believe jesus is the messiah...that's all I was trying to say...enough on this...I'm not even religious
