Awesome! Either way I can't wait to find out what Anthrax is gonna do! Like I've said before, regardless of who's on vocals, lead guitar, or bass I hope the next album is more thrash influenced. Man it would RULE if there were some "epic" thrash tunes ala Time, Be All End All, etc. on the new album!poker_fan_in_nyc said:Scott posted yesterday on the CDC that they're getting closer to being able to say something.
No problem! It's real easy! All ya gotta do is ignore the entire thread and reply to the thread starter. Easy as 1-2-3!metal_thrashing_kansan said:way to keep us on track!
So why would a reunion presume that they would go back in time and write like it's 1987 again?strik9 said:I hope the next album is more thrash influenced. Man it would RULE if there were some "epic" thrash tunes ala Time, Be All End All, etc. on the new album!

AGREED!devilsreject said:They were doing things pretty fucking perfect the way they were before the permed wig and the little watchmaker returned. Their last two albums were fucking awsome. WCFYA was aggressive, modern and still had a classic Anthrax stamp right throught the middle.
Welcome, man, and right fucking on!!devilsreject said:They were doing things pretty fucking perfect the way they were before the permed wig and the little watchmaker returned. Oh yeah... I do. I've been following Anthrax since '86 or '87, and I've always loved them. ATL, SOE, POT. These were the soundtrack to my teens. And I still pop them in every once in a (long) while. I've always said how Anthrax is the only band from that time that I can still listen to because of how they've evolved and always seemed to be living in the glory days instead of trying to recapture them.whitey131 said:Do you like any of the 80's stuff. I'm a bush guy but I like the old stuff.
DumbAss said:Hey Guys... The members of Anthrax said it themselves... MANY TIMES, which is something you'll NEVER hear them say about John.

I can't say for sure that I didn't say something stupid in the past. It's not something I ever truly felt about Joey. There was a time when I obviously didn't feel he was right for the band. Times change.

If you take into consideration how many Jew there are in the world, and then *poof* they all turned Christian - - - YES, yes, it would indeed be the end of the world.
