Welcome to adult life. This is why we are assholes.

I'm sure feeling like death has nothing to do with late night video games, drugs and/or alcohol, and shitty neighbors.
I've found that since I started having to work mornings that it's best to just get the fuck out of bed as soon as you wake up. Laying around tends to make me more tired.
I actually get up the second my alarm goes off the first time (20 minutes before I actually have to be there), throw my work shirt on, deodorant on, and walk to work.I've found that since I started having to work mornings that it's best to just get the fuck out of bed as soon as you wake up. That and a couple glasses of tea helps.
Feeling good in the morning isn't complicated. Most people need 7-8 hours of sleep on a regular schedule. Of course that's not always an option with *ahem* "flexible" work schedules.
I may end up working 12 hrs, 6 days a week fairly regularly. That's no way to live.
Personally I need about an hour of wake up time before im functional. I find that my day goes more smoothly when I give myself even 20 minutes of 'space' in the mornings to wake up and gather my thoughts. Otherwise, just going through the morning ritual as a zombie until im awake is the normal routine for me.
