Necrophagist - Onset of Putrefecation

I would probably have to go with this one for the time being. I don't have a shitload of Tech Death in my collection.

"Unquestionable Presence" is a great album, but I didn't think it was necessarily considered Tech Death. If it is I like it more than the Necrophagist. "Elements" is great as well.

What I've heard of Demilich was great, but I didn't think it was tech. You can actually listen too all their songs on their web page to anyone who doesn't know :) It has something to do with the fact that their record label had screwed them so they want to give their music away - or so I heard...

Skymorphosis is brilliant. Came as a suprise when I listened to it, because the name of the band and album suggested it would be utter crap.

I'm going to say 'In their Darkened Shrines' by Nile. Although a couple of the songs on there are a bit tedious, the rest are pure awesome.

Also, Introjection by Solitude is worth a listen.

I'm not one of those raving demilich fanboys, but they're fairly cool

"average" really equates to "sucks" in most musical genres, so most of the stuff we discuss on here is at least above average.

also fred, what the fucking hell?

Couldn't say really, only thing that comes to mind that I really love is Elvenfris, but like V5 said, it isn't really wholly tech death.
