this band is great... I just discovered them, and immediately bought all 3 of their albums.
They are clearly a prog metal band, but very original, focussing much more on composition than technical display. the main songwriter is actually a keyboarder. but it's not at all keyboard-driven music...
I have heard a lot of prog metal bands, and few are as good as this one.
The latest album, "For the love of art and the making" is especially great. it's actually a one-song-album (but only around 40 minutes), and it's very twisted but at the same time pretty accessible and catchy. Great riffs, great songwriting, great vocals.... "Section X" is equally great but it's more like a regular "collection of songs" album (but the vocals are even better on that disc).
So anyone disappointed with DT's or PoS's latest offerings, give them a try!
