What black metal list? Also, somebody make a list of the best black metal albums that nobody ever listens to thank you so much.
You forgot Sorcier des Glace's North which you'd agree is pretty close to the top of that fine list....as for your request, idk about nobody but here are some i've rated 4+ which have less than 200 ratings on RYM:
varathron - stygian forces of scorn
One of the best Hellenic black metal albums in the last 15 years and one of the greatest comebacks in black metal. I don't think they have competition in Greece nowadays.
I'll check it out.Have you checked out Synteleia yet? They're not as good obviously but a cool new Greek black metal band in their own right.

I actually have an original CD-R of their debut 'Snowland' - as you can imagine, being self-released it is a very amateur CD-R, the cover is probably photocopied and it has no sides. According to discogs it's worth a fortune these days. Definitely an interesting band, with a back catalogue that I should explore some more. I remember there were a few fans of the band back on the old A.N.U.S Metal Hall forums years ago.North is pretty well known around here. It’s Moonrise in Total Darkness that remains woefully underrated it seems.
I thought you’d disappeared - nice to see you posting again.
Probably their best since Groza.Thoughts on new Mgla? Riff quality seems to be a step down from the last few albums, but the drumming (which was already excellent) has gone to next level awesomeness.
Exercises in Futility was better. Still solid though.Probably their best since Groza.

Really like this. The vocals are a deep shout for some of the album which automatically makes people think its hardcore influenced but I dont get why theyre a problem really. A lot of black metal vocals just suck.
i was hoping it would top EIF but it didnt, still really goodThoughts on new Mgla? Riff quality seems to be a step down from the last few albums, but the drumming (which was already excellent) has gone to next level awesomeness.
I mean EIF is their best work so thats a tall order.i was hoping it would top EIF but it didnt, still really good
