I would say that the material from Vempire to Cruelty definitely deserves the black metal tag. Also, I would say they are at least "blackened/something" from Darkly onwards. Hammer of the Witches at least is pretty legit meloblack metal.

The Japanese scene was always my favourite, but I liked SS also. Don't really remember Ramleh or Grunt but they sound familiar. Dunno if you like Creamface (grindcore) but that's also Mikko's work.
