Black Metal.

The Ghost Album was still a pretty fun listen, though it wasn't as good as his older work. I didn't like Kammen much at all, so I agree.

Sort Vokter – Folkloric Necro Metal

Reissue of this classic 1996 album created by four insane norwegians amongst which Ildjarn and acolyte Nidhogg participated. 'Folkloric Necro Metal' explores the deepest depths of madness, hatred and rage in a strange brew of majestic soundscapes and buzzing, raw black metal in the typical Ildjarn-Nidhogg style. Transcendental Creations is proud to make this venerable album available once again, in digipack format.

A Forest of Stars – The Corpse of Rebirth

Few are the ones in the current Black Metal scene who have the guts and, above all, the creativity to push the boundaries of the genre. This is precisely what A Forest of Stars, one of the new emerging bands from England, has done in their album The Corpse of Rebirth. The four sorcerers conjured the souls of their fellow Victorian era occultists and ended up creating an atemporal, unique and spellbinding opus, with influences ranging from progressive and psychadelic music to traditional black metal and sharing a similar artistic framework with bands such as Ved Buens Ende, Solefald and In The Woods.

Peste Noire – La Sanie des siècles – Panégyrique de la dégénérescence

The first Peste Noire album, now quite well-known in the underground black metal scene, is once again available through Transcendental Creations. Currently at the forefront of the French black metal scene, Peste Noire offered its own blend of black metal on La Sanie des Siècles with aggressive, hellish riffs and melodies reminiscent of a distant past. One song has been remastered and the layout remains the same as the 1st edition. Contact De Profundis for European distribution.

Peste Noire – Folkfuck Folie

The second Peste Noire album, where Famine and partners in lunacy explore even more filthy and twisted realms than ever before. This is the repress of the album, bearing no difference whatsoever with the first edition. Folkfuck Folie reeks of sickness, depravity and insanity. Peste Noire displays once again how excellent musicianship and unique songwriting is more than relevant in Black Metal. Search for enlightenment not in churches but rather in sewers : one may only reach what is 'high' through what is 'low'! Contact De Profundis for European distribution.

Have any of you gotten the new Azaghal CD Omega yet? Is it their best? I really like what I heard from this band and the new CD.

This band change style constantly....they were a folk black metal band in 2004... and with their last album, they jumped the orthodox black metal bandwagon like behexen did.

In my opinion it's not worth it... stick to Funeral Mist and Ondskapt for the ultimate orthodox band.

Ok, I've never heard Funeral Mist or Ondskapt before.
