Even though it is a love/hate album, I highly enjoy it. It was an interesting and daring evolution on their part, and I give them props for that.
I thoroughly enjoy that album, and that is the reason i wanted to check out the older materials from this band.

Keep in mind that Fractal Possession is a whole different phase of the band. Earlier material is much more traditional.

Totally agree. I read so much badmouthing of it before actually listening myself. I'm still not sure why people hate it.

Could have something to do with the fact that a lot of people can't handle change. It's an album so far out of the norm for them that listeners shun it. It also has stylistic similarities with death metal and I could see people hating because of it.
I listened to Fractal Possession when it came out and didn't care for it. I found it to be a bit boring though really it was the first time in a few years that I had listened to them.

Fractal Possession is pretty good, but if they're evolving into an industrial Black Metal band then I'd say they have yet to reach the promised land.
