Brutal and/or technical US-style death metal all the way. For me the best death metal comes from the US, Canada, South America and there are a few bands in Sweden, Slovakia or Holland that I can listen to too.

I own all their albums, excluding the shit they're released since Digimortal. SoANM and Deman aren't brutal in the slightest :Smug:. So tell me... how many bands do you listen to that have more than 1 bassist? And there's nothing uncommon for a band to have just the 1 guitarist.

I like BOTH melodic and brutal death metal, as long as they sound good and somehow intense and expressive.
It depends on my mood though. Also I have those "extreme/brutal" music phases and then the more "melodic/beautiful" phases...but it's like that with a lot of people isn't it?
