Let's turn the lights off and let's leave on the ones on the tree... I like the atmosphere it creates.

Great movies, probably my favourite growing up! Always wondered why the mom wasn't arrested for gross negligence though... leaving a minor alone... 2 times.

I should post a picture of the tree we have decorated in our classroom. I think the whole forum would crash, that's honestly the most horrible, overloaded and kitschy thing I've ever seen.

Oh yes, they're some of my favourite movies too! I always watch then around this time of the year and I am surprised I can't get tired of them... I don't know, it's as if XMas is not the same, as if something is missing, if I don't watch them!

I love when Kevin makes all his "battle plans" to fight the thieves...
And yes, I agree on what you said about the mum, I thought something similar too, I was like "How come that when she goes to the police, she tells what happened and they never tell her off and do something against her and the family??!"...

And I like my house too, yes, it's not a big house really, but we tried to "take care" of it and chose furniture to make the house "cuter"... we love antique style too, you know, it's not that too old antique style, it's a medium-antique, let's call it this way.

Christmas has lost all kind of religious meaning to me... I just see it as a great time to tell my friends and family that I love them... and to spoil them with gifts of course !!!

I'm almost done with my shopping for Xmas... I got an iTunes gift card for my dad, pyjamas for my mom, pyjamas for my sister, a Wii points card for my bro, and for my boyfriend I got a EB games gift card, a HMV gift card, chocolate and pyjamas. Now I only have to buy my best friend's gift, my bandmates' gifts and my boyfriend's family's gifts.

Im celebrating Christmas on 7th january and I dont care a lot about it.My parents use this day just to get drunk and eat too much.No Christmas decorations. Im actualy worried cause my dad already has high level of triglycerides,cholesterol,high blood preasure and asthma and he is under a huge stress at work.Uncontroled traditional drinking and eating for new year/Christmas +bunch of slavas after that isnt very good for him,and he almost had a heart attack at the end of January last year,so Im naively hoping he will be more careful this year.Beside that I dont care for Christmas.

Oh, I am sorry to know this, it really is sad, if I can be blunt.

I'd say I can understand a bit why you don't care about Christmas that much, but I also want to say I hope that your father will get to feel better about his health and about his job too... and maybe someday, when things will be better, you will all have the chance to spend a nice Christmas to treasure in your memories.
