And I think he's being partially sarcastic. If you look on the previous page you'll see that he quoted Zeph's original post and wrote "wtf do you mean by 'enlightened?'"

Also, it's important to note that classical music and the Classical era are two different categories, the latter being more specific.

Well apparently in Mathias' case classical includes baroque, classical and romantic eras...so it really seems obscure, incorrect and difficult to understand.

classical refers to a very specific moment in music history. This is why I am asking. However, seeing your answer you appear to simply be using it to lump together Classical, Romantic, and Baroque under one umbrella.
