Yes, I had discussion in class. That is nothing to make fun of because it is a sentence that involves six words and a comma and very little substance to make fun of. It is such a trivial fact in the sentence that if I left it out than the sentence would still remain on the same subject manner, thus I don't see how it relates to acts of homosexuality. Care to add more detail on why you find it funny.

A prerequisite of a class discussion being a class discussion is that it be a discussion in a class (or alternatively a discussion about class, which would change the discussion of class to a different class discussion altogether, that being discussion of class as a topic rather than discussion in class as a location, which is clearly not what we're discussing).

I don't know how it is in everyones respective areas but here everyone's in the same class with the same people all the time in school so theoretically a class discussion could be a discussion you're having with your class at a break. The fact that the discussion takes place in class makes it unnnecessary to write that it's with your class though.
