Cursing and Opeth...

I actually liked hybrid theory when i first got it. But the radio annihilated those songs. They havent progressed at all either, so i just disregard them at this point.

I feel the same way...I did like the remix cd too(Reanimation, yes?)
still have them both...they're quite catchy and at the time(2000) they were pretty innovative and unique...but then another 20 million bands like them appeared and they haven't progressed or matured.
despite all that the mtv mash cd they did with jay-z I liked.
it got a grammy too.

You have a horrible taste in music.

Speaking of Dan Swano. Dan uses the F word a few times on Unorthodox and it does not sound bad. The only time the words fuck or fucking sound bad is when some wigger from a nu-metal band is talking about how his dad butt fucked him or whatever the entire album.

i always thought it was because he was extremely brittle.

Actually, has anyone else ever noticed that, when Chester Bennington from Linkin Park attempts to put any power into his vocal delivery, he actually looks like he's gonna have a heart attack and die? Seriously, major blood pressure. Can't be good for him.

I always thought he just had gas he was trying with all of his power to keep inside.
E! would celebrate if he farted on a live show

Cursing is good if it is Method Man (that man writes some goos lyrics). or even Ironman.

Aint Satan and Devil counted as curse words in the english language(they are in swedish)? If they are Opeth have curesewords in The Grand Conjuration. Maybe in some other songs too, but thats the only one that comes to mind.

I wouldn't count the words Satan and Devil as curse words if you're using the words to describe the entity/whatever by his/its name, as they are used in The Grand Conjuration. Not even in Swedish.

To use an example in Swedish (since I can't think of an english example):
Jag vet inte om Satan finns. (I don't know if Satan exists.) - Not a curse word.
Satan vad ont det gör. (Damn it hurts.) - Curse word.

So it's not a matter of what words you use. It's a matter of how you use them.

EDIT: I think it's more common in the english language to kind of use "God" and "Jesus" as swear words, more than "Satan". Which I probably would consider more blasphemous if I would have been a christian. Since I'm neither a christian nor a native english speaker, please correct me if I'm wrong.
