I actually liked hybrid theory when i first got it. But the radio annihilated those songs. They havent progressed at all either, so i just disregard them at this point.

still have them both...they're quite catchy and at the time(2000) they were pretty innovative and unique...but then another 20 million bands like them appeared and they haven't progressed or matured.
despite all that the mtv mash cd they did with jay-z I liked.
it got a grammy too.

I wouldn't count the words Satan and Devil as curse words if you're using the words to describe the entity/whatever by his/its name, as they are used in The Grand Conjuration.
