Into the Grave and You'll Never See are far from boring but I'll admit just about everything after is pretty meh.

Left Hand Path, Clandestine and Wolverine Blues by Entombed are all pretty good swedish DM albums



I have a few Grave Albums (Soulless, As Rapture Comes and Fiendish Regression) but I don't like them that much. I still need to check their first two records.

I'm basing this mostly on a 45 minute live set so I think I heard a little from most of their albums.

He does not like Grave or quality DM because the vocals do not remsembe people puking in toilets and frogs,etc.. regular DM is just not ridiculous enough and hilarious.

As stupid and immature as that was, it brought a smile to my face.

I honestly don't think a live setting is the best way to first experience a band (assuming you meant seeing them live was your one and only time listening to Grave).

Yeah, Into the Grave is great. Certainly not the most intelligent album, but fantastic when one wants simple, pounding and fucking heavy Swedish Death Metal. As far as that particular style goes, it only loses to Shadows in the Deep.
