Death Metal

The next two releases from The Crypt will be

PURTENANCE - Member of Immortal Damnation / Crown Waits the Immortal Official LP + 7 EP"
EPITAPH - Seeming Salvation / Dark Abbey - Blasphemy Official LP + 7 EP"

I picked up the cd reissue of Seeming Salvation so is the Dark Abbey demo worth the purchase?

Kick ass man, where can I find other cds from the crypt?

I was jokingly refering to how the band also had the nerve to make paedophilia lyrics to intentionally get a rise out of people.

I reviewed their lyrics yesterday and could not find this.

Thanks for confirming it was a joke. I like Woods and was unaware of this.

You want pedophilia lyrics?

Featuring songs such as Pre-Teen Sex Scene, Babysitter and The Art Of Fucking Kids.

Today is the 20th day of Morbid Angel's Altars of Madness. Four men released an album that would change the way we listen to death metal. They pushed the boundaries of what is extreme and twisted. Sure, you had other early bands like Death, or Possessed, but never quite released anything like Altars of Madness. This album is pretty fucking evil. From Trey and Richard's twisted guitar work, to David Vincent's bass and fucking evil growls/screams, to Pete's drum work, it is nothing but pure evil. Still after 20 years, this album is often viewed as one of the best death metal albums of all time. Still after 20 years, it is still one of the most wicked and twisted albums ever made.

So through out the rest of your day, think about what this album has done to death metal, and metal in general.

NOMINON To Enter Studio In September - May 12, 2009

Swedish death metallers NOMINON have issued the following update:

"We have these last couple of months been busy working on the forthcoming NOMINON album. Right now we have five songs written and completed for it, plus lots of other ideas (some really sick ones) for the rest of the songs. The plan is to enter the mighty Necromorbus Studio with Tore Stjerna at the end of September to start the recordings of the fourth album.

"We have decided to work with Deathgasm Records from USA for the CD version of the next one. Simply because we share the same vision when it comes to extreme underground music, yet also because they are THE only label that has been 100% supportive and honest towards NOMINON these last couple of years."

Sweet.
