Do they belive?

Godfuckingdamn, who the shit cares about Varg Vikernes anymore?

Anyway, as V said, some bands are just blatantly joking/having fun, while others take themselves so damn seriously that it's a joke in itself.

Varg is a major dickhead. The fact he has any followers amazes me. Granted I think his Burzum albums are good still doesnt mean he's not a ass. I'm pretty sure when and if he gets out of prison some of Euronymous's friends and/or followers will want to give Varg a "bloody welcoming party" ... I wouldnt be surprised if he is in isolation in prison. away from the general population because he wouldnt have lived this long if he was in general population with the death threats he gets.

This is misinformation. Judging from the current interview, he's gathered together and matured quite a bit. And on the "death threats" issue:

No, I am not threatened by anybody. The prison system in Norway is fairly civilized, by world standards, and so are the prisoners and the guards. I get along well with just about everybody.

A. its the Black Circle not the Inner Circle..

Actually, it is the Inner Circle, not the Black Circle. And I don't think anyone has confirmed that it actually existed.

C. If you want to learn further about Euronymous, Varg, Isahn and other Black Metal contemporaries.. I recommend reading the book : Lords of Chaos: The bloody Rise of the Satanic Metal Underground by Michael Moynihan and Didrik Soderlind

I do not recommend it. From what I've read of it, there are several things stated in the book that simply aren't true.

Haha...I was right....but I've read enough into black metal history, I don't really have any interest in getting Lords Of Chaos any time soon. I flipped through it at a bookstore once, it did look like a pretty interesting read.

I dont know. i hear Black Circle alot not Inner Circle and which parts of the book you didnt find true or like? .. the only parts that bored me were Varg's interviews on his politics...

It is a very interesting book.. and a good read. im almost done reading it.. but i found the first half more interesting then the 2nd half. the 2nd half tends to be about black metalists political and/or religious beliefs and that kind of bores me ... but there are alot of interviews by HellHammer, Varg, Isahn, etc... so if u can find a cheap copy online or at a used book store I would recommend it.. after all most of what was said was/is coming from the horses mouth so to speak (the people who started the scene and such) ...

There are so many bands sing about Satan and stuff but they want to recognized by using these symbols. I don't mind listening to Satanic lyrics. I believe that there are Satanic bands and self-claimed Satanic band but for the fun of it.

For example Slayer, they draw Pentagrams and stuff but Araya is not a Satanist.

About Varg, screw that bitch. What an idiot!

One thing about Varg is he lies through his teeth or is not in reality... a prison system that is civilized? do not have to be a idiot to know thats not true... what he is stating is like the killer of Selena or John Lennon saying they get along with everyone and they do not have a enemy in the world... and what Selena/Lennon fan or friend would want to kill them? lol ... both those killers i believe are separated from the general population.. anyways didnt Varg's mom try to break him out of prison because he was being threatened? ......

I don't see why he would lie about that....

The only thing I've read about his mother was that she gave money to some of his friends or something, they were apparently planning to break him out or something. And the police questioned his mother. I think that was a long time ago though...

The prison system in Norway is indeed civilized. Even a bit too civilized, seeing as jail-time should be a punishment and not a vacation. So unless Varg was being threatened by the guards, I would say that his statement rings true.

do you think all those so called Anti-christ bands(such as Deicide, Venom, Marduk...etc) actually belive in what they sing?

I think no...It's just a 'rough' pose they have. o_O

With Deicide, they're not altogether pro-Christian, but Glenn Benton is the only one in the band who's interested in shouting it from the rooftops. Apparently the rest of the band just let him get on with it, when it comes to interviews and lyrics. I don't think any of them are serious Satanists.

Venom have said time and again that they were only doing it for shock, and I don't think Marduk are any more serious. They certainly don't come across that way.

Acheron (at least, Vince Crowley) are one band who really do believe it...and they suck. Which just goes to show that being "true to yourself" isn't what music's about.
