I know that you do like metal of course. How much? You just happen to listening to some metal too? R u true metalheads? Or what?

I am true metalead. a really fucking closed minded one. nothing but metal...

I'm a metalhead for the total different reason than you, it is because i am open minded.

I do also love other bands that aren't metal, but have that 'darkness' and emotion to them, like The Tea Party, or Days Of The New...

Yeah, i'm a true metalhead, but i'm not of a closed mind, i listen to anything from MARTYR (ha ha, you were waiting for it metalized) to Morbid Angel, Vanishing Point, Iced Earth, Testament and Dragonlord, Cynic, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Nevermore, Metallica, Meshuggah, DEATH (rest in peace, freind...)... etc.

Awesome music, Awesome musicianship, Awesome Lyrics, Heavy as ALL FUCKING HELL/dark as ALL FUCKING HELL... These are what make the many genres of METAL my favourite style of music

I'm mainly a metalhead, but my tastes do stretch out as far as ska punk and commercial rock too. I like Less Than Jake, Feeder, Blink 182 and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, but I also like Brutal Truth, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, early Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Bolt Thrower, and other more varied bands. Although I'll probably be shot now for admitting that I can also quite complacently sit through D12, Eminem and the Long Beach Dub Allstars...

I'm not and i don't want to be called trooo metalhead....For years I was called "false metalheads" by my friends,but at least unlike them I am STILL listening to metal and not shitty Bon Jovi or beats or Despoina Vandi...
I hate this "troo" trends and shit..i am a metalhead,an open-minded one...I also enjoy some gothic or ethereal stuff but that doesn't mean i don't love metal music.....my life is more or less combined with this music....
and btw,I don't give a shit about what people say,call me false,call me gothster or whatever you like,i don't mind..
all i know is that i listen to metal because i love it and because it awakens all this great feeling and accompanies my life in the best way,and not because i wanna look evil or strange or sth....

Seriously,metalized,relax man..."either you're true or not"?????...hmmmm I don't like this dualistic (bipolar??-dipoliki anyway) way of thinking (it also reminds me of the christian good-evil opposites )It is quite an exaggeration and if you take things so strictly it is only you who is the 100% true one..but wait a second you like Opeth and ITW....hmmmm ...are the albums you have from these bands 100% metal?? I doubt it

Well 12 years of metal has told me this. Heavy metal or no metal at all. All of the albums i own are filed under metal (progressive, death, power, heavy, or whatever)...METAL.

and at 41, I think that would make me a true metalhead - not many 41 year olds I know who listen to Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, etc.
