Do you use your turn signal when driving?

For me, it's 'depends on my mood'.

Usually if I am in a turn only lane, I don't use it because other people in the lane know what I'm going to do, so what's the point?

I have to because I'm learning to drive, but even if I wasn't I would.
The retarded people who don't use it annoy me, specially on roundabouts.

I'm pretty much the same, if it's a turning lane I don't bother, but otherwise, I always indicate. I fucking hate people who don't indicate properly in roundabouts.

When I'm in the turning lane or I'm the only one around I don't use it. When I determine that people may need to know that I'm turning, I use it to prevent unfortunate occurrences

I'd rather not be blamed for not using a turn signal if something ever happened... following the laws is generally a good way to avoid being blamed if any accidents happen.



Also I think that people who don't use their turn signals are total dickweeds and I want to rear-end them for being so thoughtless.

I fucking hate it when people don't use it. For instance, I could be following someone who's going slow. I don't know they're about to turn because they didn't signal. If they were signaling I wouldn't pass them, just wait for them to leave. But since they don't signal I'll pass them. Other situations arise too that are just frustrating. It's not that hard to use your turn signal people.

I'm not sure about american cars, but in british ones they're actually placed so that it takes minimal fucking effort to signal. You have to move one finger two inches to flick the switch.

It's also really aggravating when you're trying to cross the road and suddenly the person turns into the road. I wouldn't have crossed if you'd just showed that you were going to turn into the road.

I always use it. In fact, I flash my high beams at people who change lanes in front of me and don't use the turn signal.

Yeah, because I'd rather not get a ticket for not using my turn signals, and also because I'm not a my pals. I let other people know what lane I'm going into to instead of just ignorantly speeding into another person's lane.

Maybe you should look into getting them adjusted (where they are pointing). Yeah, there are bright headlights out there, but they should be pointing appropriately so as not to make it hard for oncoming traffic to see. If you have an ongoing issue like that, they are probably pointing too high.

I almost always use turn signals. It's just a good habit to be in. I get pretty angry at people who just sway here and there without letting other people know what they are doing. If it's all trafficy and someone wants into my lane, if they signal I will usually let them, if I see they are looking and trying to sneak in, I don't make room.
