Do you use your turn signal when driving?

Do you use your turn signal?

Apparently you've never experienced the regular headlights that a BMW has. They are almost as bright as high beams. I'm not taking it to a shop to see if they need 'adjusting' since I find that to be fucking ridiculous since there are ways to reduce the intensity of headlights that you see (like, HOLY FUCKING SHIT, looking away from the headlights if they are too bright)

I pretty much always use it. Alot of the time even if Im in a turning lane, not al the time though I have to admit.

Only idiots dont use it. It not only causes them danger but also other drivers safety. They also irritate others when they dont indicate where they are going. Things would be much easier and accidents would be less common if people actually followed the rules.

I cant say how many times I have been about to turn onto a bigger road with heavy traffic and some idiot decides to not to use his/her turn signal and therefore I cant drive out on the road and have to stay for another couple of minutes waiting for a opening.

And yeah it should be a reflex not something one does if one feels like it.

Use them all the time and hate when people don't use them, especially getting in front of me on the freeway and turning off a two lane road in front of me. Give me a head's up instead of just looking like a retard who's driving slow.

It is a matter of brightness. They use brighter lamps than most other cars on the road.

That is incorrect.

Yeah, they may use brighter lamps, but they are not supposed to affect other drivers. Do you not understand? Headlights can be adjusted angularly up and down and are supposed to be adjusted so that they do not shine in other drivers' eyes.

Taking a turn without flashing can lead to very bad accidents IMHO so i use it just as Zeph said..a reflex. i use to flash my high beams but i once got flashed myself and found it can cause trouble focusing to the flashed driver and as much as i like flashing a moron i don't want him crashing and getting hurt(Or killed).

I always do, regardless. And here in Florida, especially in Hernando, and the west part of Pasco county. The cops are a bunch of ultra -conservative, racist goobers/hicks that love to fuck with you, so don't give them even the slightest reason to! The Tampa area police are a lot more even-keel most of the time. Besides, it's common courtesy as well to always use your turn signal. Now, the old people,(plenty here in Florida) well....they like to leave them on for miles and miles....damn blinker abuse!

I always use mine just out of habit. i always have to bitch at my friend for not using his, especialy since its always during a burn ride he wont use his signals. Shits gonna get me busted one day

GG giving me a link to a body type that doesn't correspond to my car (I have an E46 body type). Mine aren't supposed to aim down:

It's only happened to me a few times anyway, so I haven't really worried about it too much. Just kinda funny sometimes.

I just threw that link in. The others tell you how headlights should be adjusted. Your link only talks about a potential problem with that model. No, nobody's headlights should be "pointing down". But everybody's should be pointing properly. Why don't you just check your adjustment and see if they are proper? Or you can just go on in ignorance without regard to your fellow drivers.

I've only driven a couple times but I think they should be used at all times. A very common thing for people to do here is to drive in a turn lane to the intersection, bypassing a line of cars in the straight lane and then turn into the straight lane at the last second, cutting everyone. This makes a turn signal important even in a turn lane.
