It's too noisy for them and being a kid that's been listening to hip hop all his life it'll be pretty hard to change overnight and love metal music. A lot of mainstream hip hop serves as background music and black people are accustomed to that, in order to listen to a metal band you have to pay more attention to what's going on in the music.
hi! i'm a white guy and i grew up listening to hip hop and i couldn't stand metal until i was 15 years old. then i started listening to metallica, megadeth, anthrax and slayer and from that time on metal, especially thrash-metal, has been my favorite kind of music. i'm still open-minded and listen to many different kinds of music but metal is and will always be my favorite kind of music! Vince Dennis is a good example for a blackskinned metal-musician, he played bass for Steel Prophet and Tourniquet (my favorite band). In a crowd of a thousand metalheads there are usually not more than 2 or 3 blackskinned guys or girls. why?
