was surprised to see Mortal Throne win. i remember like a decade ago it seemed i was alone with the opinion that it was better than Onward

Both albums are equally brilliant, but they were really grilling with propane on Mortal Throne. I've heard people that have been into death metal for years say Mortal Throne made them feel like a lightweight when hearing it for the first time.
