amity is an Ep and you obviously realise when reading over that i meant If_then_else, i should really re-read before pressing send but as for Katatonia i recommend the new album LFDGD, you need a bit of patience with it and (i feel like ive said this a million times) it turns from an ok album in 2-3 listens to a great album of the year in 5-6 listens. Discouraged Ones is a good all round album too, and if your into growls Brave Murder Day has Mikael (yes the opeth Mikael ) on vocals growling away.

I just discovered this great album. It's a melodic death metal band with very personal style (in my opinion). I've been listening to this very much recently.

AEnima is indeed an amazing album, as is Lateralus and all of Tool's albums actually.
