am i the only one that dislikes ibanez ?

Proably yeah, and you must be nuts or something to dislike Ibanez. I mean, they are THE BEST for what you pay. To get what Ibanez gives you, you usually pay quite more in other brands.

thankies all. I'm looking out some ibanez

I'm poor man :( i can't afford a JEM, but it's awesome as fuck

Well, I ca't afford that either  But anyway, I tried this yesterday in a shop and I must say I was really really impressed. I loved it and the components are great. It was around 900€ IIRC, so it'd fit in your budget and is a pretty versatile guitar.

Those guitars are seriously overpriced. I wouldn't touch that shit with a ten foot iron pole!

Why i would not:
-I would never buy a 1k € guitar with a damn Edge 3 tremolo. Sure they are okay, but look at the shit! The prestige models are hotter and have way better components for the price.
-It's fucking ugly as shit!
-I hate JEMs! Overpriced, overrated slim neck guitars.
-Only one allowed to look awesome with one is Vai ( and inhe )

My point is...that guitar should not cost that much. There is way better Ibanez RGs/S series for a lower price! You basically pay for Steve's name and the looks.

Huge rant  But I'm sorry I'm going to have to contradict you. Maybe the 555 Jems are overpriced and I'd be the first one to get a good Prestige before that one, but the real Jem is pure awesomeness, all models. Not overrated at all and actually not that overpriced. And slim necks are nice dude

Awefull, very thin guitars ... Dont like it.

Really? I love the S series, I'm actually proably going to get one with what I make from this month working here in Ireland. The new SZ with locking tuners and the new bridge that can be turned into floating or just normal are awesome, plus they finally brought 24 frets into those guitars.

^Any link to something on the Ibanez site leads to the Ibanez homepage, try replacing it with a link to a store that sells it.

I've a question for you guys...no...two questions ..
Which pedal should i buy considering i got a Boss Metal zone?I mean the pedal which fits most with the one i have

and...

Which is the best marshall amp i can get with a 500€ budget?

marshall valvestate, i'll say it over and over again but its true, this amp is awesome, chuck schuldiner from death used it, i use it and its fucking amazingly br00tal. its not a new amp its a little old but its not hard to find them, its a hybrid so it has one tube in the preamp, its a really great all around amp and really cheap. dont buy any of the new marshalls because they suck cawk in my opinion

arvoitus: you did a decent job but it sounded like you got off time and you were dragging a bit, work on making those riffs tighter

I have the 1x12 valvestate it broke though :( It was a great sounding amp though. The footpedal feature is awesome...unfortunately my footpedal broke too.

well thats just like the old valvestates, the original AVT's are the second line of them, there pretty good. basically the same thing with more features. but idk that tribute seems a little expensive, and its a 1 x 12
and also since its a new amp those digital presets will sound like shit (in my opinion)

With 500€ I woulnd't get a Marshall at all. It'll most likely be a piece of shit if you don't catch a good offer of an old one on eBay. If budget is that, I'd go for something like this or this. Not tried the 1st one but heard it live and sounded nice, and tried the other (head version with a Harley Benton cab) and sounded pretty nice too.

I asumed you want valves.

no valveking is shit by itself, the only reason its good is because people run a shit load of things into it, much like the peavey windsor. i wouldnt buy it for stock tone. if it was 1000? shit, theres a lot to get

what type of tone do you want? do you want a combo or a half stack? etc. etc.

The Randall is awesome though!

I am seriously considering starting to play drums. Like after christmas or something I thought I'd actually get a electric drumset (I probably won't live in a place i can play acoustic set in a while and i need to be able to do silent training). Was just browsing thomann and found those cheap under 300€*electric drumkits. Could go with those and a cheap millenium double pedal(No I'm not stupid enough to think i can play with it right away but I am going to start training to incorporate it into the playing after some time anyway).

This all came from having jammed with the new (very possible) drummer to my band. He was awesome and we playd at one of his friends...he had this really awesome electric drumkit and the room was full of amps, a rack setup, cabs and a PA. Was really great sound in the room and everybody could hear everything!

If i've posted this here, you can understand which kind of sound i like...
And btw a combo is not the best...i wanted to buy only the head so i'll be able to change the speaker everytime i want to

Randall RH50T is a good head. Cheap too! Then theres the Bugera 6262/6260! Depending what you want...the bugera is way more modern while the Randall RH50T will achieve clearer and more well defined tones...more like a combo of Mesa/Marshall while the Bugera are direct clones of the Peavey amps XXX/JSX or 5150

^if the badget was about 1000€?

Peavey 6505. No contest.

No, the Valveking I heard was just the amp. It depends on how you tweak it.

Oh Guys, should I go for a Jackson SLSMG Soloist or wait for some kind of fancy ESP V/Rhoads (SV NT or something) cheap on Ebay ?

I dont frigging know, I know the Jackson kicks ass, but on the other hand i love V/Rhoads guitars and play them right now ...
