Actually you are wrong. You just don't understand BM and you ears aren't trained to listen it. BM-sound as you would call it, is really creative and gives another perspective to metal music. Instead of nowadays mainstream metal which is produced with preset sounds, which just are boring.)

My ears aren't trained? For what? To distinguish what is a big ball of shit sound and what is a nice smooth pleasant to the ears tone fitting to the music? And please tell me what's creative of e.g. your hero Varg Vikernes playing random notes on the fretboard and recording first takes. To me (and to everybody else but narrow minded BM fans) beeing creative is writing pieces of music like e.g. Freak Show Excess (Steve Vai), The Glass Prision (Dream Theater), Enemies Of Reality (Nevermore) or Seven (Necrophagist). As you may notice my big hero isn't in there (would put it too easy for you to bash me and ignore all the other songs I listed), and the styles range from instrumental-oriental influenced to technical death metal, but all share great writing and arrangements, nice tones, accurate playing... which all together make for a nice song and not just random instrument playing, which is what is actually boring.

If you want I guess I could try upload the vid to YouTube, but quality isn't the best so dunno, maybe pm you an mp3 with the sound. We kind of made a parody of it (particularly when the solo comes , I just ran around the fretboard without even looking at it, tr00 BM style ).
