pffft
save up more if you want a guitar with a good trem

i've known people with shitty licensed trems have epic fail tuning stability after a year or two, even months after getting the guitar

When I replaced the springs in the back I no longer had a problem of the trem going out of tune. But I do agree, edge trems aren't as good as the officially licensed Floyd Rose or even the Schallers.

Schallers r awsum

everything schaller makes is godly

but my explorer has fucking huge strap buttons and the screw hole was too big for my schaller straplocks so i have to drill new fucking holes
at least it might solve the neck-heavy problem

I love learning theory. But I'm at work with no guitar, so I don't think I'm gonna learn much right now.

As far as the "analyzing your practice regime" goes, I decided to relearn all the fast riffs I know, but can't play up to speed. This time, I'm learning them with strict alternate picking, instead of economy picking- starting at 80 bpm and so far I've spent about a week working up to 100 bpm. So I'm gonna see if this helps. Maybe, if nothing else, it'll make my playing more even.

OMG I SHOOK JAMES MALONE'S HAND TONIGHT SO HAPPY NOAW

And I saw the 1st four songs of the Behemoth set, which crushed balls..

idk if you guys know him, but matt parsons posts on UM occasionally (his name is parsonsmatt here i think) but he posts more on the ESP forums. well anyways he has this sick project called Alas;Tyranny and he records basically everything but he needed some clean vocals for his new stuff so i volunteered and i recorded some tracks today, hopefully he likes em and i can get the go ahead to do the rest of the songs :D
