Guitar Player's Thread

He's a fag, yes. But I also think that on first place always stands the look of a guitar. Then comes the quality. I would never buy a guitar which shape I don't like - wether it's specifications and playability is top notch.

Me too. I prefer to develop my technique to the point where I don't have to fuck about with tiny little differences to feel a difference and make it sound and play well. A guitar is a guitar, if it's decent, then it's decent.

Saying that, Jems are overpriced because Steve Vai uses them. They're hardly any different to a standard Ibanez.

And Conti, that guitar is sweet, can't wait to see it when it's done!!

Yeah first comes the look.
But another importance is the *feeling*. that might sound strange but my custom shop Ibanez doesn't deliver the same feeling that I get from my favourite guitars (my old Fender Mustang for example).
Playing on my Ibanez is not as fun as playing on my Mustang although it has this awesome thin neck and this great low action.

well sorry if i expressed myself wrong i just wanted to say i dont like les paul guitars or gibson guitars and yes i once played them when i didnt know what metal was

I'm pretty sure this guy is more metal, more expressive, and has better chops than 98% of the guitar players in this thread and he plays a LP shape (actually I think it's the one InnuenDO was asking about!)
