Tom S. Englund's custom Caparison is hot.

^That's pretty sweet. Would be hotter with Black hardware IMO though. The cable solution is same as on my MTM2. Cooolish!

Well both surely excellent. Caparison would still wash out your wallet totally. They are fucking sweet though!

I got my volume knob thing fixed on jackson and i no longer have a annoying problem of the sound cutting down. I just ripped of the knob twisted the 2 pins a bit further apart and put it back on and it was tighter=>isn'tlose=No problem with it failing. Could be it was when it shook that something always disconnect. Anyways...got my Ibanez in Drop B and Jackson in C tuning. Ideal setup...one with Floyd Rose and one without.

Anyway, I don't actually like this band, but I just thought I'd post them as the guitar work is alright and they're actually from my hometown :p One of my friends even auditioned for them and then said he wasn't interested, and now they're on Nuclear Blast

^Really? What's his name?

@Zakk:lol: Well you sound great with one aswell so why not. I'm thinking about getting some rack gear when i got money. A ENGL E-530 seems to be in order then ;)

hey there guys and gal got something to recommend you.
i was messing lately with vst stuff and i came across this:

Dirthead free vst amp simulator plug in.
so far as i can tell it looks like and sounds like ENGL to me

just load it in to your DAW (cubase, sonar, reaper etc)

really awesome impulses of ENGL, FRAMUS, MARSHALL, MESA cabs
http://www.guitarampmodeling.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2850
you need to register on this forum to see the download link its free.
in order to be able to use this impulses you will neeed another cool free plugin that you can find here:
http://habib.webhost.pl/_vst_keFIR.php

to install this plugins just copy the dll files in to your DAW's VST plugins directory and thats all, have fun with it.

oh by the way you need for this sound card with low latency that supports ASIO 2.0 in order to be able to use it in real time.

Wasn't this one or one extremely similar for really cheap in eBay some time ago? I don't remember if it was 2nd hand or it had some small stupid factory fuck up, but I clearly remember the colour scheme and that it was widely commented.

They're pretty cool actually, and dunno if it's me but when if comes to the harmonised stuff they sound (stricly speaking of the general sound of drums/guitars/panning/dist/etc...) a lot like Arsis' We Are The Nightmare to me. Maybe it's just because of the heavy panning of the guitars though.

Indeed it is fucking hot. Man, onde day I have to own one of those. Caparison rocks :kickass:

They're like... The ONLY band from around here to actually get anywhere

Well, at least one band got somewhere  The only band from my town that could be said to have done something is Runic and they are still with a small sucky spanish label. And then there's Guilles De Rais but the only thing they've done has been play with Celtic Frost in Belgium or so last year, for the rest they're pretty unkown even in Spain.

Haha yeah I was going to buy it but had money problems :erk: I still would kill for the Iris violet Horus.

I posted this in the COB Gear thread because people were asking about the MM-04

MM-04 Soundclips with J-50BC and GP-1000
Excuse my shitty playing

http://www.sendspace.com/file/gnb2sc

Each clip starts out with no gain boost and then the second half is with the gainboost activated (set around 60% on the trim pot)

The MM-04 manual does not say the exact effect of the dipswitch combinations, but it says that it boosts the tone from these frequencies and in this order:

Switch Setting: 4 / 3 / 3+4 / 2 / 2+4 / 2+3 / 2+3+4
Freq.Boosted :5kHz------- to --------------2Khz

The MM-04 has 4 switches, Switch #1 does nothing, They built it to only use 3 switches but Im assuming it was more cost effective or easier for them to use the 4 switch boxes.

The JE-1000 has 3 switches.

So If you have a JE-1000
Switch #1 = #2 on the MM-04
Switch #2 = #3 on the MM-04
Switch #3 = #4 on the MM-04

well, it appears i am not performing No Gravity after all. In fact, im not performing at all. The dude running it said that it would be too much work setting up an electric amp, since all the other acts are acoustic. I offered to play an acoustic piece, then he said that he already had enough acts already. I smell something funny....
oh well, everything happens for a reason. Back to playing deathcore lolz

if you guys haven't already, add my band Dj Deepthroat please. The link is in my sig thx.
