never heard of that. why would it require a registration key? its hardware not software.Yeah, that would be a good idea. Doesn't the Shure SM57 require a registration key in order to use it? I don't think this is the case for all mics though.
This was before my computer crashed and I was playing for 2 or 2.5 years. It was recorded with a line6 rifftracker and had a similar tone to Inhe. I've lost the registration key so I can't even record at all. I've decided to get a Shure SM57 mic because 1) I actually have enough money, haha! 2) I believe my soundcard is shit. 3) I can actually get a tight tone with my Fender 15 watt practice amp (don't underestimated it!)
Where do you think the mic will be plugged in? I'm not trying to be rude, but most people connect their mic's in their soundcard's.
Why don't you use the line out of the amp? That way you'd get the tone of your amp direct without the extra cost of buying a mic, an expensive one at that.
I'm so relieved, I picked up my guitar today for the first time in 7 weeks. Was quite suprised my skills hadn't diminished much; bit sloppy here and there but nothing a few days of solid practice won't cure. It's just I can't remember a damn thing I could play prior to my accidentSoooooooooooo fucking happy I can play again though.

Do you play much Death man? I'd love to see you play a solo or 2 of Chucks. Like the solo from Scavenger of Human Sorrow, Bite the Pain or Voice of the Soul. What other things shall I record?

don't buy the shure. Buy the Audix I5, if anything, it's the same price as Shure, based off of the Shure technology, but wayyy better quality. Shure haven't really changed their design since they first released the SM-57 (eons ago!).
besides, that, if you drop your shure, it dents the metal mesh. the audix bounces :Spin:
I've just special ordered an electro voice, which I bought based off of recommendation, so I can't tell you how it sounds but I've been told it's even better. it was like 20$ more than the audix so
You have "interesting" song names.
It's cool, your new song. Your style kind of stands out and your songs are well recorded. Cool stuff.
