Homeland

went through ep. 4 and 5 ... 5 was the best so far.

the wife character is ridiculously under written. she is pure eye candy though.

well up to EP 8 already :loco: ... damn you Jerry.

my favorite character is by far Saul ... and to think that years ago he was ...

yeah ... this is the only thing I am worried about as well. if I dig it I am fucked.

well, 6 days later and I am about to watch EP. 12 ... :loco:

how the heck did I pull this off? my wife feels very neglected :zombie:

but I hear this finale is for the books ...

i thought it was great ... for some reason I was thinking they were going to wrap up "everything" forgetting there is another season.

Her bat shit craziness isn't trying to buy her sympathy, but trying to make the viewer hazy on who the true villain is.

Pretty much this, but in the end of the season it's kind of like "She's a great CIA spy and America needs more of her!". Did you feel like that?

i feel the show is actually very pro Islam ... everyone on the American side is made out to be the bad guy and rightly so based on the story line.

surprised this hasn't come up in discussions online.

I started watching this yesterday and am on episode 8 right now.

I was not entirely convinced of it being great until maybe ep 3 or 4. Certainly a million times better than 24, which is my only point of reference for this kind of stuff.

never saw an episode of 24 ... don't they wrap up things in each episode in that series?

Not at all, but the cliffhangers and nail-biters and what not become so contrived and repetitious over eight seasons that it really just means you have to turn your brain off to enjoy it.

I was not surprised to note that the shows share exec producer credits, considering the similarities in content.
