Homeland

not planning on watching 24. last time I saw Kiefer was in Flatliners ... that was enough.

The first season of 24 was decent, then it got extremely repetitive and contrived. Every season had an assassination, a mole, and an attack on CTU. I always wished they spent time having Jack take a shit or eat a burger, but it was more like Crank broken over 24 eps.

I won't lie, I still watched and enjoyed all 8 seasons. The worst few were in the middle somewhere. Season 8 was at least intense and fun, while extremely difficult to take seriously with Bauer living through any number of occurrences which would have been the end of mere mortals.

Back to Homeland: One episode left! I was extremely tired trying to watch the 11th one at 3am yesterday, but it seems to be unfolding along lines that are not terribly surprising.

Aurel: They are holding out on revealing whether the mole was actually given away in ep 6. It is the only scenario which seems to make complete sense. Not spoiling anything on here. You're done by now, yes?

they don't give away the mole at seasons end, but if you go back to watch Ep 6 (carefully) there are some things unfolding that give the mole away to the viewer. maybe. :loco:

I just tried to watch 24 ... season 1, ep. 1 ... after Homeland this feels like MTV shit ... split screens, hyper editing. nothing just lingers.
gave up half hour into it.

I just cannot follow television with dedication. I watch documentaries, cartoons and cooking shows sometimes. And I just cannot care.

this show spoiled me and am looking for the next best thing ...

24 was an insult.
tried ALCATRAZ last night ... man what contrived horseshit that pilot was.

only LIE TO ME still kicks ass and highly recommended to everyone here.

but what else should I try? ... and stop the BB and Sons of Anarchy :loco:

Have you watched Boss? Political type show set in Chicago with the man Kelsey Grammar in it..watched an episode the other day

checked out the BOSS pilot ... it was pretty damn great. it doesn't really come around until the second half hour but there are a lot of pieces put into play for an interesting series.

and a broad gets banged hard in a stariway ... Jerry :loco:
