Eek, only now getting around to importing the stuff, and the programmed bass is a little disappointing - also, how has no one mentioned that pop when the track repeats itself?

Oh no, it's ok! But the sample could have been a bit longer with a more different playing techniques and styles you know, tight palm mutes, arpeggios even lead and solo parts to test tones in "all roads"
Grab the original bassline file on the previous threadpage, and re-duplicate it. Might work.

Sorry bout the bass...I didn't program it...just imported it from a Guitar Pro file and applied some Jocke Skog settings.
Here are the untrimmed DI files from Marcus, so you'd have to trim them to match the drums. This should fix the delay on the DIs:

.I'll admit, the programmed bass sounds weird without guitars, but once they are on top of it, I don't think it sounds bad. I honestly have no idea if the bassline is completely correct...it probably isn't, but I think it's close enough for the purpose of the competition. It's just there to provide some bottom end and a bit of grit.

That's one thing I've really come to learn about tones since joining this board, especially in regards to bass. Jocke did some great full mixes for the Reason Drumkits refill, and the bass sounds are sick when in the mix. But when you solo the bass tracks, they sound quite weird and you would never guess that they would work in ANY mix.
