i don't gotta put my rhoads anywhere but on my right thigh haha, i can sit classical, or sit as if i had a strat, and it just works...

I don't think I've actually ever tried to rest it on my thigh, I've always automaticaly sat in a classical position, or just stood up with it.

I see your point, but Jackson basses are good, and they do own all of the cheap $200 SDGR and Iceman basses, which are, unfortunately, the only Ibanez basses i've played.

Kelly's definitely looks cooler than that SRX705, though :)

i would rush to say that the cheep series of ibanez nor jackson basses are something... i got my student Cort bass with PJ pups new from shop for 200$
this thing simply own any other cheep crap i have ever tried, though it looks like damn fender jazz bass (i hate it) and white pickupguard (i repained it in to black) this thing simply awesome in it quality (for 200$ offcourse) wide range of tones (for the 200$ !)

Jackson.

Oh and by the way, why do people take off the tremolo plate on the back of their guitar?

Yeah but that's a $2000 guitar!

The one I mentioned doesn't even reach the $500 mark.

why would they sell a jackson with a sustainer for under 500 when the unit itself costs $200+, seems extremely unprofitable to me
