If You Could Open a Metal Store...

you should sell that stuff though. bring in customers. use it as bait, then introduce them to other stuff.

A small store in NYC under a subway with every type of music that I like, which is a lot, with no windows.

Or I would buy Aquarius Records.

Epitomising the musical ideals of sub-underground black metal - the kind of stuff that comes out in limited editions of 300 through vinyl-only labels based in a cave in Belarus. The exact requirements of kvltness vary depending on who you talk to, but usually involve icy, impenetrable production, black-and-white cover art, and concepts drawn from black magic, pagan myths or out-and-out nihilism.

Like anyone who takes art seriously these days, kvltists are the target of much mockery even from fellow extreme metal fans.

I actually plan to have one as an aside to my real job some day...perhaps 15 years or so? IDFK. But anyway I want it to be a hole in the wall for TRUE fucking metal fans.

I would want to cater to the WHOLE underground music scene. There are not a lot of those around. Chicago does have Metal Haven and Reckless Records.
