Hi.
My name is Salvador and I live in the north of Spain in a very quiet and beautiful small village close to the ocean.
I have a wide music taste and I love bands like Novembre, Klimt 1918, October Tide, Pan.Thy.Monium, Cynic, Gojira, Ephel Duath, Edenshade, Room With A View, Diabolical Masquerade, Desultory, Opeth... but also bands like Placebo, Kent, The Police, Toto, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Camel, Whitesnake (jajajajaja) or Roxy Music.
I knew Katatonia with their 1st album and I´ve been a Kata follower since then.
I´ve a Philosophy degree and I´m going to study sound engineering next year.
I play drums since I was 13 years old (nor I´ve double) and one of my 1st drum lessons was "Without God" from "Dance Of...".
I practise almost all racket-bat-paddle sports and I enjoy reading and watching thrillers (David Lynch is my film idol).

Hy there!.My name is Begoña, I'm a girl from Spain.Katatonia fan since Dance of December Souls. Art History student.In their last tour they cancelled the concert of my city(Valencia)the very same day, so I wasn't able to go to another city:cry:.(Trying to see them in concert by many years, every time they come to Spain something happens that make me not to go)Don't know any fan of the band, not influenced by me ;).
 
Just joined last night. Found Katatonia through myspace.com. I'm always looking for new music. I will definitely be picking up the albums when my finances get better.

Hello people

My name is Mark and i'm 21 years old. I've been a Katatonia fan since Tonight's Decision came out. Although i've been into many music genres, Katatonia has always been my favourite band. I used to prefer the so called "Old Era", but in time i realised that every Katatonia album is great in a different way. I believe that we shouldn't compare each album with the previous or the next, because IMO Katatonia with their work want to give us a different view of depression in each work.

I'm also a drummer, i own a SONOR Performer drum set and Zildjian cymbals. I find Daniel a very talented and inspiring drummer, but my favourite Katatonia drumming performance was made by Dan Swano in Tonight's Decision.

So HEY :)

and i am the singer for both of my metal bands Zero Signal and the other one needs a name
 
I'm Ari. Canadian, university student, majoring in Chinese. Got into Katatonia when a friend from Sweden decided I was overly morbid and that Katatonia's music would probably cheer me up.

i am new here so i shoud introduce myself.... my name is mascha and i am 31 years old.

I listen to metal and alternative ever since I&#180;ve been 14 years old and there is nothing like good festivals or seeing your favourite band live....

katatonia is really incredible, no other band writes such an emotional music, the whole concept (music, lyrics, art-work) is amazing.

my other favourite bands are tool, sentenced, type o negative, placebo, lacuna coil, the gathering....i also read a lot, i like horror and fantasy movies.
 
Hey everyone, I'm Steven. I'm not the biggest Katatonia fan, but I really like their new album, especially My Twin, great song. Might go see them live when they play in Bradford.

Can't remember how I came across them. I've been getting into doom metal recently and heard these guys were good. I gave them a shot and wasn't too impressed, but they've been constantly growing on me

Hello!I'm David and I'm from Spain (I live in Asturias,a place in the north of Spain). The first time I heard katatonia was in a compilation called "from within the purgatory" and the song was "at last" from the single "sounds of decay".From that moment to nowadays I love the music of katatonia, from the "old era" to the "new era", specially "viva emptiness" and "the great cold distance"(I bought this album 1 day ago and I listened to it 10 times already).KEEP ON GUYS, YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB!!!!!!(sorry if the message is a bit confusing,I'm improving my english but there is a lot to learn!)
