^^Yes are absolutely the best band ever to record an album... pure geniousness, especially Going for The One, Relayer and the live album Yessongs + of cource Close to the Edge.

It was kinda hard for me to declare Opeth as my number One because I was reared by Megadeth and they delivered me from the abyss but admiring Opeth now, it is not an insult to Megadeth, Next in line is Opeth and forever they shall be my number one.

At the moment in terms of active bands I would say Dso, all time I would say probably The Beatles. But Opeth held the top spot for active band from about 97 through to 02 and they are still a top 5 atm and a top 5 of all time as well.
