Deftones is the only nu metal that i really like, great band imo. I like some Slipknot but mostly the 2nd album, the 1st album blows and the last one is average/bad.

Deftones is the only nu metal that i really like, great band imo. I like some Slipknot but mostly the 2nd album, the 1st album blows and the last one is average/bad.
The only bands I really HATE are Nazi/NS/racist bands. I don't know why, It just gets on my nerves more than anything music-related.

i fucking HATE Pearl Jam and to not such a great degree The Chilli's.
Both bands are the core of everything I hated about music in the 90's!!
I can not stand Eddie Vedders voice, and they just seem so bland and boring!!! And goddam did they influence some shit late 90's/00's bands!!!
The chillis release the same goddam album 21431432 times and always get such high praise and every 2nd girl I meet thinks they are the best band ever where as in reality they just have the hots for Anthony Keidus!
I think if they spent less time shooting smack, they might actually be able to write something remotley imaginitve!!

metal bands I hate would be just the standard ones people have already mentioned Linkin park, Limp Bizkit, blind guardian, Angra etc etc

Yes, me very much so, that's why I don't like Slayer. And other stuff like zyklon b. I hate neo-nazis in the first place, but it seems as if the bands only do it for an image thing that gets taken too far. Being 'evil' is okay, but when you start singling people out or (like in emperor's case) actually killing people, then it's time to stop and reassess what metal's all about.

Edge of Sanity, with the exception of Crimson & Unorthodox. Everything Swano wrote alone is unbearable. Come to think of it this includes Nightengale as well.
Also Kataklysm, Children of Bodom, Old Man's Child, these fall more into the "love to hate" category.
