NYC Isis fans...I really should post this in the Mono thread, but they are playing with a band appreciated by most Isis fans, the almighty Pelican, five days after the Isis show at the same venue. Perfect timing (kind of like seeing Dragonforce and Gamma Ray on consecutive nights for power metal fans, wink wink), except for both being weekday shows. Just a heads up, and seeing all three bands in one week will be incredible (and result in serious tinnitus).

More reason why this show can't arrive fast enough: They have been debuting new material on this tour. And apparently they have never performed Syndic Calls, IMO the best song on Panopticon (although all are great, tracks 3-5 are untouchable) live.

Syndic Calls is my least favorite track of Panopticon with Wills Disolve , but eh the whole album is just prefect.

You lucky bastards are indeed going to hear 3 new songs which have been reported as PHENOMENAL and different from any of the band's efforts. You'll tell us K?
