really stupid question. ive been to about 5 metal concerts so far, and they all had mosh pits. im going to the DECEMBER 12TH concert in TORONTO, (who else is goin).anyways, ive been watching quite a few bodom live videos and noone seems to mosh?!?, like at tuska 2003 everyone headbands and pumps their fists. so i wanted to know...

what are the mosh pits like at bodom concerts?

the mosh pit at the san francisco show was pretty big during the first part i think but about 5 songs at the end had almost none. literally like 3 people were in the pit, it was fucking sad.

at the DC show there wasn't much moshing for COB, but alot of cramming and all that stuff

Yea there was an absolute assload of cramming and crowd surfing in addition to the pits at philly. And I think the pits got more intense as the show went on. Every place is different, so let us know how it is up in Toronto.

Moshing: I kinda understand why fans sometimes feel like freaking out to the music, so to me it's okay to a certain extent, but @ all the moshers out there: Please don't make it impossible for others to just watch and listen.

Crowdsurfing: I'm less tolerant when some people come back again and again and even steal the show for the band. How can anybody in the crowd enjoy their gig if it's all about watching out so that you can leave the venue without a black eye or a broken nose ('cause that isn't necessarily c00l...)?

Cramming: It seems to be damn hard to understand that it doesn't really help you much if you get to stand like 1 metre closer to the band. And to those who punch and kick their way to the front: Fuck you! First come, first served, get it?

i can't really see moshing to bodom, its just not that kind of music

I agree, it is more of the music that you really get into but it seems kinda hard to mosh to with the exception of certain songs like Hatecrew Death roll.

I kinda understand what you mean and not that I do one of those particular things, but those things dont really bother me, to me all those things just give the overall feeling of the show, it makes for a better experience for me.

at the bodom show with iced earth and evergrey in seattle, some kid jumped off the stage into the crowd, everyone moved out of the way, and his shit landed flat on the ground, it was amazing... as for moshing, thats gay. just enjoy the metal show, maybe headbang a bit, theres no reason to fucking mosh. especially with a lot of the american kids lately throwing elbows and shit. if a kid throws an elbow at me ever at a metal show, he's getting fucked up.

im not a big fan of moshin i just like to see the band

yeah i agree, there was alot of moshing though, as soon as sixpounder came on (second song they played) the crowd went fucking insane and starting moshing.

Toronto had a pretty big Mosh last time. Im not a mosher, I got caught in a megadeth Mosh and got knocked down and stepped on once and it sucks. If you dont want to get smashed step back, its a metal show.

Crowd surfing, its going to happen, if you dont want to be kicked in the face, again, step back. I got kicked in the head/face multiple times at toronto Nov11th, also the bonncers jumped in front of me and shoved their crotches in my face to stop the corw surfing, it was horrible.

Moshing will happen, if you dont like it dont go, simple as that. Why should a bunch of huge bald moshers get to be in front and not the people who just want to watch the show? Because they are bigger and stonger than you, enough said.

The moshing wasn't as bad as I expected in Detroit, I was right up front the whole time and only got elbowed a couple times. The worst was mostly the crowd surfers, sucks when you have to watch for flailing legs and shit while trying to enjoy a show. A pit did open up a couple rows behind me but I don't think it was too brutal. Also it kind of sucked being up front because the stage is about 8 feet high.
