Most Advanced Metal?

Industrial Metal is the most advanced Metal, a band like Die Krupps or Der Kinder are the most advanced sounding Metal band, KMFDM were the pioneers and innovators of that kind of music.

Did you guys start right on with the advanced/technical metal ? What band did you start with? I remember wich band that got me addicted: Limp Bizkit with their 3 Dollar Bill and Linkin Park with "Splitting the DNA" and "Hybrid". Then I whent on to SOAD,SlipKnot,Mudvayne,Godsmack and that such (A little more advanced),and then I found In Flames and later on Opeth. These two groups got me realy into the "underground" metal,and also got me in this chat room (Hail Opeth & In Flames =) ) :fire:

Melodic metal ofcourse excells in Melody. I'm no musician but I'm sure a good melody is harder to play than banging anything in sight, which a lot of Black metal sounds like to me
