most solid metal album of 2007 so far?

Being that I've been overseas most of 2007 I haven't had the chance to listen to anything new lately.

Not sure if the New Iron Maiden or Blind Guardian came out in January or before but both were so, so in my opinion, not that great. Also Amon Amarth's newist CD was not what I had hoped for, its good but not great in my opinion, maybe I have to listen to it some more.

I'm hoping Ensiferum's new album is good, and I'm also excited for Judas Priests new release as well.

Maiden, BG and Amon Amarth all came out last year.

Blood Tsunami's "Thrash Metal" just kicked my ass. I knew I could count on these guys to release something great as soon as I heard their '05 Demo.

My favorite 2007 album so far. (Though I still haven't heard many.)

I haven't heard Behemoths new album yet, then again, ive never been a Behemoth/Black metal fan. Naglfar's "Harvest" is insane though. One of my favorite metal albums as of now

For '07, cant go past Virgin Black (mentioned above) for me, though this year has seen a huge flurry of great releases in a short space of time, it will be a hard one to pick.
