Okay, any particular reason you singled out Beethoven? Regardless, I stand by what I've said.
I find myself somewhere between the two, I would like to get into it but it's quite a daunting task. It tends to be just the odd composer that really stands out to me, almost at random and other similar composers wont do anything for me at all. I love Scriabin, Saint-Saens, Satie but can't find any consinstancy with the styles i like, though I lean towards the impressionists.
I'm a big contemporary classical, post-classical and neo-classical fan though, Artists like Sylvain Chauveau, Chaz Knapp, Olafur Arnolds and Johann Johannssonn. Would be interested to know if anybody else here is into these genres.
By techno do you mean all electronic music or do you mean the techno subgenre? I can't say I'm well versed in the differences, but I've noticed a lot of people say techno when they mean all electronic music.
Ugh not Ishkur's guide. That thing is balls... However good for history I guess.
I like it.It would be cool if someone made one for metal, like they did for Ishkur's guide.
It would be much cooler if they made an electronic music archive similar to metal archives.
I just made a goth rock thread on Insidehoops(basketball forum) and not too many fans of that genre. It does get good reviews on this site. Would it be the most hated genre of music?
Polka.
