footbalm, that 125 is great. they dont export that kinda stuff to the states. the last cool small bike i remember was the FZR400. i think the last one here was in maybe 90 or '91. very cool bike.

disclaimer: yeah, theres the ninja 250 but it's not really a race bike. very nice though

There are lots of cool racing Aprilias and stuff but those are pretty much another league than used hondas or Suzukis, but IMO the NSR beats the GSX (Suzuki equivalent) and the Yamaha kind that I forgot what it's called (YZR?)... Thing is, up to 125cc can be driven from age 16 here so of course I needed one of those then, and the only thing such small bikes are good for is seeing just how much speeeeeed you can force out of it... 140km/h was about max for mine, but I've had it up at 155 (that's what, 98mph or so).

WELL, not wearing a helmet is kinda stupid and illegal in Sweden, and I don't really hellbike as transportation, I do it because I like it, but the reason I post this is: You won't die unless you ride like a moran or with a bike in bad condition. With some exceptions of course, but loads of people die in cars or walking as well so fuck those.

Perhaps not entirely accurate, but I'd say a good majority of accidents are caused by this. Some of those bikes are VERY fucking powerful machines and the riders of them are plain fucking stupid. I consider myself anything but a rev head, after all, I ride a fucking pushbike at the moment, out of spite for automobiles (no, my empty bank account has nothing to do with it!).

Not even close to being true. In a motorcycle, you are completely at the mercy of everyone driving a car. Of all the people that I've known, that have been either seriously injured or killed on a motorcycle, it was always a case of someone in a car doing something stupid.

With some exceptions of course, but loads of people die in cars or walking as well so fuck those.

People die sleeping as well. However, riding a bike on the highway, is like showing up to a gun fight with a knife.
