There's arrogant people in all the world, but the USA is the most arrogant of all countries. And sure, they have all that, but they also have an incredibly large public debt (or internal debt; i don't know what you guys call that in english), one of the most incompetent presidents in history, the worst reputation in history and a hell of a lot of other problems which i'm not even going to mention. But i suppose everyone has the right to be arrogant.

You are aware that originally, people didn't say America when speaking of the USA, are you? The country's true name is "The United States of America" (which means that they are a bunch of american states that united together, not necessarly implying that they were the only country in the Americas) Later, people got tired of saying USofA all the time and they said only "America" or "United States". That was my 2¢.

I think taking that stance is also pretty damn arrogant . Oh I agree with you on the president, and the debt (because of the current president), but I dont really think we have the worst reputation in history, but then again that's just my opinion.
